Megan McFadden is a Provisionally Licensed Mental Health Practitioner (PLMHP). She received her Bachelor of Science Degree in Family Studies from the University of Nebraska at Kearney and Master of Science in Education in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from the University of Nebraska at Kearney. Megan joined the McDowell Counseling and Associates family with a background working with children and family systems. She has experience working with the school systems as well as higher education college students previously with her internship at the University of Nebraska at Kearney. Megan has a strong passion for working with clients who have experienced past and recurrent trauma through EMDR and trauma-based therapeutic techniques. Through an attachment-based approach, Megan works with clients to understand generational patterns and grow in their understanding of themselves and the systems that impact them daily. Megan is trained in areas including working with people who struggle with anxiety, depression, suicidal ideation, mood disorders, personality disorders, and trauma.
