Meredith is the owner of McDowell Counseling & Associates, LLC. She is a Licensed Independent Mental Health Practitioner who received her Master of Education Degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from the University of Nebraska at Kearney. She has provided outpatient mental health and substance abuse services since 2015. She has provided Eye Movement Desensitization Reprocessing Therapy since 2018. Meredith enjoys working with behaviorally disordered teenagers, Veterans, the LGBTQ community, and clients who have been victims of human trafficking and will provide faith-based counseling. Meredith also provides couple/marital therapy as well as family therapy. She is certified with the State of Nebraska, including Probation to administer the SASI and CASI as well as complete substance abuse evaluations. She provides services for all types of substance abuse addictions. Meredith sees clients in Kearney and offers telehealth services. Our office is a preferred provider for the VA and probation. We will provide individual, couples, and family mental health services, as well as substance abuse for all age groups.
