Heather is a Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker who received her Master of Clinical Social Work degree from the University of NE –Omaha. She has previously worked with older adults in long-term care, individuals transitioning back into the community after hospitalization as well as with children and families involved with the foster care system. She has training in Trauma-Informed Care, Motivational Interviewing, CBT, DBT, Interpersonal Process Therapy, Strength-Based Therapy, and Solution-Focused Therapy and is certified in EMDR. Heather will also provide faith-based counseling. She enjoys working with people of all ages including pre-school-aged children and couples. Heather sees clients in Kearney and also offers telehealth services for the surrounding communities.
